A seven foot one inch Brit "banger"? Does he also bring some mash?

Thank you, all, you've been a great crowd. Good night Spokane!

Love it! Bangers and Mash is our nephew's favorite, so Mr. ID has it in his honor whenever we are in a pub.

As I understand it, aren't all scholarships offered year to year. A coach can choose to not renew a scholarship, right?

I know it is a crappy thing to do, but I think we see it done all the time, here and other places, where a kid transfers to "get more PT" - isn't it often b/c the coach has "helped" them find a soft landing?

I know Jon Horford from Michigan is definitely transferring. He has one year of eligibility left to play. Don't know what our needs are though.

One year renewable was the way scholarships worked for many years. A couple of years ago, the NCAA changed the rule to allow for multiple year scholarships. It has not been widely utilized.

Sounds like a great kid Lynette, reading the latest Scout article on him. Tri-Captain; though playing limited minutes he led UM in blocks. Problem is he states he wants to play major minutes as a stretch 4 (he's 6'10"). That's already manned by Wiltjer, Nunez (to an extent) & perhaps Sabonis. Don't think he would find the minutes he was looking for. Was recruited by Alabama out of HS & his older brother played for the Gators (current Ala. HC Anthony Grant [who is on the hotseat] was an Asst. for the Gators at the time).

Sounds like a great kid though; just looking for a chance to play "my actual game."

We have Edwards and Okoroh wouldn't have beaten him out for the starting Center position.

Nope, he's going to try to get drafted! *fingers crossed* His agent thinks he can get him picked up.

Wishing him the best, he came up huge for my Wolverines toward the end - just not sure they've got four of the top 60 players in the draft, assuming Stauskas/GRIII/Mitch all go. Guess we'll know more tomorrow, some sort of announcement scheduled for 12:30 p.m. PST.

Default When is 'done' really finished?

Returning to this thread's original comments BZ, why would any bangers catch you eye, since with a Sabonis' commit we would be full up?

Are you softening your comments so that "done deal" doesn't become the mantra?

With Euro recruiting being the original great cloud of unknowing, I am not expecting a straight, complete or full answer. Rather this my paranoia seeking company. It fears being alone.

Umm, no. Very raw despite physical tools. Much work to be done before that young man thinks about playing in the NBA.

JMo is one of my all time favorite Wolverines. My 9 year old daughter cried when it was JMo's last game. I almost did. Our family loved watching every game that your nephew played in. We didn't miss one. His work on and off the court has been amazing. For him to stick with the team not knowing MM would get hurt speaks volumes of his character.

I would not want Mr Horford to be a Zag. As they say in Michigan, those who stay will be champions.

    What about MJ Rhett...?????

UConn is going after him in case DeAndre Daniels declares for the NBA. IF something opens up he def is a banger!!

What do ya think BobZag??? This guy may help us expedite our salsa dance to Indy right??? Def a long shot and our needs may not align perfectly with MJ's though! I would take him in heartbeat though!

With Cuenzo Martin taking the head coaching job at Cal, I assume Okoroh reopens his recruitment
