A couple good ones in there, especially:

"We treat our athletes the same way we treat other students. This is why we’re one of the cleanest programs in the country and why we’ll never, ever, win a national championship."

    and

"As for Theo, I have to say I’m very surprised at him. To be honest, I didn’t even think black kids were into psychedelic drugs. I thought it was just a suburban white kid thing. If he’s into Widespread Panic, too, that’s going to turn my whole world upside down."

Hopefully everyone will take this as lightly as it was intended.

Will Josh ever return to the team? It’s possible, but remember, we have pretty strict standards of behavior here. We treat our athletes the same way we treat other students. This is why we’re one of the cleanest programs in the country and why we’ll never, ever, win a national championship.”

    I love the brushback.

    Default Widespread ZagPanic

So, so funny! And I thought the hippy Zag-ball juxtaposition was limited to my handle! Oh man.... That's the best I've felt in four days! Thank you.

I guess the joke going around some of the schools in the Valley is something to the effect of "last year we had to fear the stache, this year we have to hide it". I don't know if it's in poor taste or not but it made me chuckle a little, which is nice.

That is funny and it does help take a little of the edge off. Nice one.

I think that's the first time I've smiled at this whole situation.
