Baseball America Ranks Bulldogs No. 24 In Latest Poll
SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University baseball was once again recognized by Baseball America when the organization ranked the Bulldogs No. 24 in its latest Top 25 rankings released Monday.
The Zags are winners of eight consecutive games including two West Coast Conference sweeps over University of Portland and Saint Mary’s College. Gonzaga sits at 23-10-1 overall and has a WCC best 11-4 record.
This is the Zags second appearance in the Baseball America Top 25 Poll this season. Gonzaga was ranked No. 21 in the Mar. 25 ranking.
Gonzaga was also listed in the “five teams to watch” list by Perfect Game and received votes in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll.
Next up for the Bulldogs is Washington State University who will visit the Patterson Baseball Complex and Washington Trust Field for a Tuesday night contest set for 6:00 p.m. GU won the first two games against the Cougars down in Pullman and can win the series on its home field...
