Default GUnit of the Game: USD - 2/2/2013

Zags escape the Slim Gym with a win. . ."survive and advance" basketball on a day that saw a lot of upsets. Zags had 11 steals and only committed 9 turnovers; USD turned the ball over 14 times and that might have been the shade of difference that let the Bulldogs head home with their 21st win of the season.

Harris was the steadiest Zag on the floor. I think the rest of the team were zombie imposters.

Harris was really good tonight and we survived. I hope this is the clunker for the WCC season. Past few years we have not won this game.

Harris started off well. Everyone disappeared in the second half. I gave it to Bell for his very late in the game defense on Dee. I thought he answered the call of desperation. Nice floater by the Riverboat Gambler.

Harris was the one consistent player out there tonight, but Stockton gets my vote for the difference maker down the stretch.

    Harris!!

But now Few and Kelly are the only 2 techs we've had all year.

Harris, all the way to the block to win it, in a scrambling situation late. Big time play, awareness play, winning play

    Harris for overall performance.

But Stocks provided some humongous minutes at the end of the game and had 2-3 KEY assists. Would have had another big one too if KO hadnt blown that yam-job. But Stocks deserves some credit for sure.

    David's shot won the game.

    Default Stocks

he made the game winner, but perhaps more importantly, he was feeding the post when it looked like it couldn't be done. Including KO's dunk that didn't go.

Had we and he not done that, we would have lost. imo.

Went with Stocks because of his play at the end. His assists to Olynyk on the pick and roll as well as his shot were awesome! Great game for Harris too.

Harris played like a senior. He could have half the stats he did and still get it because of his steady nerves and play. Total leader, hope he can cattle prod the rest into waking up next week...

had to give it to Harris. Without his early energy we probably wouldn't be able to dig out of the hole.

+1 18 Pts, 2 blocks, 8 bds, and an assist... He kept shoving down their throats when Kelley didn't/couldn't (due to their collapsing).

Bell with a close second...13 pts, 3 steals, 4 assists, and 1 bd. (good job!).

Elias Harris without a doubt. He, Bell and Stockton at the very end seemed to be the only ones with much energy. Mostly Harris and Bell, imo. Stockton, overall played pretty bad defense tonight along with Pangos.

Elias was player of the game for the first five minutes or so. Afterwards, hard to pick anyone. Just happy for the "W."

David Stockton...the guy was the iceman down the stretch. This team REALLY keeps its composure.

For me it is either Bell or Harris, with a small advantage for Harris.

Yes Stockton made maybe the finalizing play, but his impact in making it a close game wasn't really big.
