I haven't verified those figures myself, but they look good to me.

I'm sure someone can link to some of his stats.

    Thumbs up

I think I read here that he misses about 35% of his shots.

If a Point Guard is ranked 17 in the land and throws up bricks, then he must be damn good at something else. Considering we have a lot of guys that can score...maybe it is that something else we really need.

note: I personally don't believe he will throw up bricks

He might or might not be a great 3-pt bomber, but if he shoots 65% and, in those highlight films, he seems to take at least 2 3s a game, well... I realize that highlight films are right up there with damned lies and statistics, but anyone who shoots 65% overall while taking, say, at least 2 treys a game is an okay 3-pt shooter in my book.

IF the rest of the team can meet Gibb's stats we should do fine.

Great find BZ! Gibbs only took about 7 shots/game on average, but wow did he connect! So he clearly knows a good shot when he sees it and probably has a good idea of what shots _not_ to take. Plus 88% from the line... not shabby there either.

I am fine with him not scoring a lot. He led his team to the state title while shooting a great percentage and dishing out plenty of assists. He has had some talent around him and it has not been required of him to score a lot. That is fine with me when it comes to PGs.

I expect his scoring average to be around 15-16 this year, which is pretty solid for a PG

Hopefully he doesn't get PMAC disease and not take shots when he should.

With all the discussion about Gibbs and how much he scores, I keep reminding myself someone has to drive the bus, and Grant seems to be just that type of player.....toss in 67% shooting from the field and 88%, from the free throw line, plus his assists and rebounding what can't you like about him, I think we have landed someone who we are really going to enjoy watching play ball in a Zag uniform.

Well, the answer is not much. Nonetheless, there hasn't been much definitive information about his speed, a quality that our team could use very much.
