Default Gonzaga in 4 of 50 Must See Games of the Year

As per Jeff Goodman. You got to love our schedule this year!

    12. Gonzaga at Xavier, Dec. 31 (8 p.m. ET on ESPN2) -- Here's another terrific New Year's Eve contest, this one involving a pair of the top non-Power Six programs.

    37. Michigan State at Gonzaga, Dec. 10 (9 p.m. ET on ESPN2) -- No one plays a more difficult non-conference slate year after year than Tom Izzo and Mark Few.

    43. Butler at Gonzaga, Dec. 20 (9 p.m. ET on ESPN2) -- Two of the elite mid-major programs in America. Also, two of the more mellow head coaches in the country.

    46. Gonzaga at Saint Mary's, Jan. 12 (11 p.m. ET on ESPN2) -- The WCC's two top programs (no disrespect to BYU) go at it. The 'Zags will try and pound it down low.

Wait. You mean to tell me that the gaels VS Bethune-Cookman and Kennesaw State in the continental Tire Las Vegas Classic did not get even honorable mention?

Actually, this just came out a couple hours ago. Maybe you posted another one by another writer?

I'll add #51 to his list:
The first conference match up between Gonzaga and BYU. The Zags aim for revenge after their Jimmer-ousting in the NCAAs (if Jimmer was still around, it would probably make his Top 10).

Yeah, this is a different one. MSU at Gonzaga didn't make the previous list (oversight).

What's the 'student situation' with the home games this year? It's just Butler, from what I understand... correct?

Default Just checked the academic calendar

    Christmas Holiday begins December 16.
    Residence halls open January 15.

That would leave these home games without most of the students:

Dec. 20--Butler This is the only one of the "must see" games which will be without most of the students
    Dec. 22--Air Force
    Dec. 28--Portland
    Jan. 5--Pepperdine
    Jan. 7--Santa Clara
