The wingspan on a couple of those kids is unbelievable!

        How is that possible?

Leslie McDonald, 6 foot 2 inches with an 82 and one-half inch wingspan? Ohmygawd.

Am I missing something? It looks to me like they all are Campers and none of them are counselors on that .doc.

I'm sure that they will be teaching things the right way at the camp, but as great as Steve Nash is--the best point guard in basketball--I don't think I would teach someone to play like him. He does a number of things totally against traditional basketball convention. The way he plays is totally unique and extremely effective, but I don't know if anyone else could pull it off. Guards are taught not to leave their feet without having made a decision about what to do with the ball, Nash does this all the time. He also dribbles the heck out of the ball. In most offenses it would be problematic that the PG holds on to the ball for so long, but with the Suns, so many of their shots come directly off of Nash's passes and few come from anyone else. They don't run a whole lot that involves more than one pass and then a shot.

I assume the camp won't even address the topic of defense

Adam Zagoria's blog makes that clear:

Nash spent three days instructing 22 of the top prep point guards and 10 of the premier college point guards in the nation. At 219 and 6'2", Jeremy is easilly one of the biggest point-guards in the country. He is just built!!! Matt is not too far behind him either, just taller. Strong athletic guards that can dish and take it strong to the hoop. That's what I love to see. A great outside jumper is good too, but nothing get's the crowd fired up like a fast break slam.
                      GO ZAGS!!!

Then it was probably right up Isaiah Thomas' alley. He's not there yet, but I still can smell Husky on him.
