I get tired of all the suppose this happens and suppose that happens so far way from reality actually revealing itself. Also, I so enjoy the snarky comments that come to mind about the Washington Huskies that really don't properly fit in MBB.

Hoping the first tourney game for GU falls outside of working hours. . .

If the MBB prognosticators saying GU is a lock for a #2 seed cannot consider the possibility of GU getting pushed to a #3 seed. . .they are ignoring history. It wouldn't be the first time the Zags regular season achievements were dismissed with the a backhanded wave from the selection committee. . .

My new house does not have a basement. Therefore I will not be getting a man cave. When you enter the house there are stairs going up, an office on the left, and a living room on the right. In the back of the house, there is another living room on the left, kitchen in the middle, and dining room on the right. Most houses I have seen with two living rooms on the main floor have a tv and couches in one and then couches and no tv in the other. Let's be honest, I will never use a room with a couch and no tv. What do you think of putting a pool table in the living room off the front door? That is something I would use and enjoy. I was thinking I would buy a table with nice wood work and a slate on the table. Along with that I was thinking a small round table with bar stools kind of like you would find at a bar. I was also thinking about hanging a tv above the fireplace so I can watch sports in the background while playing pool. Do you think this is just way too tacky as you enter the house?

A game parlour just off the main entrance? Sounds terrific!

Don't get hung up on tacky. Do the stuff you enjoy. Give yourself permission to be weird. There are no rules.

A pool table would be awesome! I love the look of the carved wood ones; we wanted one, but just don't have enough room for it. I think intricate furniture falls into the art category, except it serves more of a function than a picture on the wall. what about this light fixture for above it?

I am concerned by the possibility of the Zags having to beat SMU to get to the Elite 8. SMU is a very dangerous #6 seeds and I think they can beat the #3 seed Iowa State on the 21st to reach the S-16.

Does this concern also have something to do with the fact that GU beat them easily (at K2) this season?

They are playing better and are at full strength. . .rematches in the same season are worrisome. And I think Larry Brown might throw a few wrinkles at us on the second go-round.

Agreed. I wasn't being facetious with my question, rematches(where we won first) tend to worry me because the opponent generally comes in with a chip on their shoulder AND the winner of the first game can take a more casual approach to the game. They need to get through two teams first, though.
