    Have fun.

I guess they're televising some women's amateur this year, saw it advertised anyway.

I've read Augusta isn't anything to write home about, but Athens is an entirely different deal. Athens is a very very cool town.

Augusta is one thing. Augusta National Golf Club is another. . .

FWIW: James Brown was an Augusta native. Not referring to the CBS sports guy with the oddly disturbing hairline

The "some women's amateur" was an outstanding event.

The Women's Amateur passes came via lottery. The Berckmans passes for Monday were courtesy of a vendor. . .kind of a retirement send off.

The vendor has had a connection to the tournament since its inception; the vendor's founder was one of the first members when Jones & Roberts got things started in the early 1930's

Spokane for bloomsday. I’m running with my daughter for the 2nd time. She ran with me two years ago and only needed to walk a couple of times. It surprised the heck out of me. I can’t wait to run with her again where as I was dreading it last time because I thought she would be upset and wanting me to carry her for long stretches.

I drove back from Spokane yesterday afternoon. I ran into a painful traffic jam from just west of Ellensburg through just east of the pass. This weekend I had such a good time seeing family and enjoying the nice weather. But that traffic coming home is what I hate about going to Spokane for the weekend.

At Keller Auditorium in Portland taking my kids to their first professional theater experience... Lightning Thief (based on the Percy Jackson series). Curtain in 3 minutes... and they’re just chilling reading waiting for it to start. When they’re reading I look like a great parent.
