    Who is Bruce Springsteen.

(gu03, I was taking a wild wrong guess, Eminem, makes sense now)

    Artists who sang this lyric:

"When I see her comin' down the street
I get so shaky and I feel so weak
I tell my eyes look the other way
But they don't seem to hear a word I say

And I, go to pieces and I wanna hide
Go to pieces and I almost die
Every time, my baby passes by..."

    Again, music trivia for $100!
If you can't handle the confusion, stay out of the Foo!

    Q: Who is Paul Shaffer.

This might be one for $400, but I just discovered this on my own (I have way too much time on my hands). Alex:

A: This band (fairly) recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame had a top 25 hit that included the uninterrupted lyrics:

"Doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot. Doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot. Doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot. Doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot, doot."

Having no luck finding this on youtube & it's driving me nuts.

Those lyrics are heard in the opening scene of the movie Contact as the scene moves away from the earth out into deep outerspace picking up earlier and earlier radio transmissions.

(hope that's the right one, cad)

One of my favorite movies (and books...RIP Carl Sagan). I just rewatched the opening scene...nope. But it does have to do with leaving...something.

    Oops. Music trivia.

    Q. This song was released in 1981 with moderate success. It was rereleased in 1986 with greater success due to its prominent inclusion in a movie of the same name.

Just checking if 1981 is supposed to be 1961? Stand by Me fits 61 and 86...but I got nothing if 81 and 86 are correct.

Sticking with 1980s movie themes...this 1980s pop star performed a cameo music performance in Spokane during the filming of a 1980s film. Who was the pop star and what was the movie?
