I have to say it's the most raw, open, honest, emotional concert I've ever attended. Very powerful. She was born in Seattle and lived there til she was 5, she was happy to be back in her home town and very appreciative of the audience. Live music always moves me, but this was on an entirely different level. She also beat the hell out of a cymbal throughout the show, that must be therapeutic.

Is that a re-mix of the original?

There are probably countless people doing cover songs on you tube. Some of them are fairly clever and creative. This is a fun video I just saw, seems like some strong video editing work as well as a nice voice and playing multiple instruments. Or some illegal cloning going on.

More Spokane Movie Trivia: In "Vision Quest" the lounge singer was Madonna. Her movie debut, singing "Crazy for You".

Looked like The Onion from the outside, but that was many years ago.

That was one of the best movies that never hit huge hit status, yet was just so good. And hit me at 14-15, ouch.

Apparently this band formed in 2013, but I've never heard of them til about an hour ago. Haven't gotten much publicity. I tried out several of their songs on you tube, I like their sound. A little bit of a HAIM vibe to me, but different too. Young Brits.

Grimes just dropped a new song. She might not be human. She doesn't age. Allegedly 31 years old, she could easily pass for a teenager.

It looks like another Ken Burns master work. There’s a 30 minute preview streaming on PBS now
