Default Zags@Bears in Dallas Game Thread 12/18/10

It'll take a total team effort on both ends of the court. Baylor plays primarily a 1-1-3 zone and they play it well, like Syracuse. They are very long and rank high in a lot of defensive categories. The Zags' offense will have to earn every point. Baylor has the whole package on effense, from their guards and wings to their bigs. Needless to say, it's a huge task for Gonzaga but a big oppotrtunity as well.

    Go Zags.

Hey, we're not the only team with lousy final plays, hah.

    Next years theme should be:
    'Starting over'

Everyone has the earn their spots on the floor. New kids have as much chance as the old dogs. Play a softer schedule - other than the pre-determined home and homes, etc we should play more cupcakes. Gel as a team, stay out of the top 25. Hit the WCC hard and then suprise people in the tournament.

This year's schedule is crazy... got a gut feeling that this game is going to be more of the same...

Don't know... there is a guy with a red GU jersey, blond maybe, white cap - looks WooHoo-ish.

You might find it streaming on justintv but I'm not sure. ESPN3.com, too, maybe.

Neither A&M or Arkansas is close to being as good as Baylor is. Not even close.

Agree, and I thought R Clark would have some better shots, but Arkansas hoop was shut tight for the last 9 mins.

Notice in the piece on UConn women he has them practicing against MEN. Maybe that has something to do with the success.

I am waiting for ESPN to figure out a way to cut to another game so we can miss the first 15 mins of the Zags game.

Good ball movement, got it down low. Good D for Baylor, I guess.

Lets not get into foul trouble, and lets get out in front as much as we can while they are cold, it will not last forever.

Even with 3 TOs we still look less frenetic on offense, more patient, that's improvement.

    Default , we're looking good ! ! !

We're doing really well. I hope we keep it up. Its ALL about attitude right now and Baylor is seeing some taller pplayer than they are used to. AND we seem to have our own attitude so far. GOOD
    Go TEAM Zags !
