Default ESPN.com, Elias Harris leaving for the NBA...

Unreal...I guess this changes the dynamic of the team for next season, huh?

LINK- ESPN.com story, Harris leaves for NBA

With Harris gone, how does this affect recruiting? I never imagined he would be a one and done, but we have to at least be thankful for the amazing year he gave us!

So, just wanted to say....THANK YOU ELIAS!!!! And good luck in the nba.

Haha. I feel bad for playing this joke for some reason. I almost feel like I kicked a tiny kitten or something.

But I'm glad some of you are falling for it. :-)

Good riddance. I was sick of his primadonna attitude anyways. Always complaining, you could tell GU was just a stepping ladder for him. Just think how good he could have been if he had actually tried.

Just before logging in, I told myself "Now don't fall for the Mark Few has left for Oregon April fools joke."

Yet I was still suckered into this one

    Default oh well

I'm sad to see him go but with the verbal commitments today from Pangos, Bell Jr., and Wiltjer it definitely lessens the sting.

I actually momentarily broke out into a cold sweat...

I then looked at who posted it and carefully inspected the link to make sure it was not a rickroll.

    Default WooHoo

What a way to make the emotions run amuck. Angry at myself for falling for it, even after your email to me to "check the boards". Man, I want to slug WooHoo, but you gotta say, it was executed very well - megga props to MO Zag nut. Then, the elation of knowing we have Harris. My emotions go a little like this:

Good one. I nearly passed out when reading the thread title. That said, until May 5th(draft declaration day) comes & goes, I won't feel comfortable w/ Elias staying @Gonzaga. This April Fool's "prank" could actually come true within the next few weeks. During Elias' final interview, he said he'll most likely return to GU, yet definitely weighing his options & heavily considering his future in the NBA. I linked the recent article in an earlier post, yet posting from my phone. At this point, we can only cross our fingers & hope Elias returns for one more year. The prank delivered, yet maybe a little too close to the truth...did we just "cry wolf" with Harris future?
