Default Look for Josh on Doomsday Hill?

Must be tough to get in the Community Service he was sentenced to when the door shuts on him. It's good to see he's getting his hours in.

Whoever wrote the copy for that story is an idiot. There was no "conviction" and there was no "sentence." Of course, using those terms makes the story a lot more dramatic.

Thanks for the link. It looks like Josh is really making an effort to do all of his community service. It's good that he's trying to turn himself around.

So what was the point of that story again? I guess it's good to know that Josh is keeping up with his service commitments, but it just seems like it was a slow news day or something so they used any hook the could find to just trot the story out again...

    Default Josh and community service

Exactly Nev. Nothing to fill the space so KREM ran this 20 second blurb. It had no point whatsoever....just a cute little gossipy 20 second spot which might be partially true but had some potential to be damaging.....certainly make a kid feel bad when he's trying to dig out of a hole.
    Completely silly.....yep. Completely gratuitous......yep. Without news....yep.
Distasteful and without point...yep that too. Just one of those pieces that earned a note from Abe to KREM. Abe

Handing out water and bib numbers at Bloomsday? A court monitor at Hoopfest? That does not sound like community service to me. Every defendant is going to want this type of punishment.

Hey mtzaga, would picking trash out of tree wells constitute community service?

I did not see Josh on Doomsday Hill. I did see Matt Bouldin at the trade show.

I likewise did not see JH, although maybe my vision was failing at that point...

A student in a position to know told me that Josh has be turned away by several places he attempted to work off his Community Service hours. I thought that was interesting.

That's basically what the article and this thread says...
