    Default Zags@Sparty Game Thread 11/17/09

Okay, it's time to put on the armor and go into battle-mode. As much as I've joked about how MSU will murder GU, if there's one consistent trademark of Mark Few coached teams, they're always surprisingly ready in November. Can the veterans keep the ship righted in the eye of the hurricane? Can the rookies absorb the hostile environment and still be effective? Can the Zags limit the momentum that comes with trey-bombs and slam dunks? Can at least three rookies and the four returnees bring their A Games?

Many questions, few answers. This team enters a realm of the unknown.

Time for a battle mentality. Time to slip firmly into battle-mode.

Man, I'm already nervous for this game and I still have a class to teach this afternoon... *sigh*

HuddyBuddy and Richard Fox coming up in six minutes with the pre-game show on 1510 KGA radio from East Lansing.

I really like ESPN's Steve Lavin for color, but I think I'll stick with Hudson and Fox on the radio - unless the voice gets too far out of sync. Usually, the radio has run a tad bit ahead of TV, which I like because they telegraph what's coming a second before it happens.

What a gig Hudson and Fox have. Tom was saying they fly on the charter with the team and stay in the team's hotel.

Run, rebound, be strong and shoot with confidence. This will take a herculean effort by the Zags and Zaglets, but if Sacre is Adonis, just maybe...................

I'm didn't get much of the pre-game show on the cbssports website, but it has started now (around 4:35).

Less nerves than I expected. Great to see all the early looks for Big Rob. Guards just need to real in the wild passes a bit.

Great start!!! Let's keep the tempo up!!! They're considered a running team, but that's compared to the rest of the Big (slow) 10 (11)... Let's run run run run run!
