Default Fran Fraschilla on Huskies' "offer"

UW's desire to play all games in Seattle and terms of series are bush league. Do they think they are Duke or Kentucky?

Love Lorenzo Romar but if I were Mark Few, I would tell Huskies to take a hike in wanting to renew series. Zags don't need UW game at all!

Maybe if enough National sports guys "sell out" to the Zags, Seattle's Huskies will get the message. And maybe it will help in seding the brackets to get all this love.

It's just so obvious. There's no more to say about it.

The Huskies' offer was a sham.

    It was exposed locally.

    It was exposed in Seattle.

    It has been exposed nationally.

    Game over.

    Default Katz on UW proposal

Washington is trying to reach out to Gonzaga with a proposal to play a series in Seattle every year at Key Arena, with UW assistant athletic director Richard Kilwien saying the game would bring in $300,000 per school in the 50-50 ticket split. But the Zags' argument is that they already play a game in Seattle every season for their fans in the western part of the state. Gonzaga wants a true home-and-home series to resume with the start of the series back in Spokane -- and the Zags aren't budging. Kilwien and the rest of the Huskies aren't either, saying that they're not interested in a home-and-home series. So the stalemate continues and the series won't continue. Gonzaga does do a true home-and-home with Washington's Pac-10 rival, Washington State.

Good job for not giving in to the Huskies demands. I would rather not play ever again then agree to those terms.
