    American Pie

I bought this album before it was popular or well known. While in grad school in Lincoln, NE. Still have it too.

Watch out, Alison. Here comes Sierra!

IMO, Sierra has already passed Alison in instrumental skills. Watch this and you'll see what I mean.

IMO also, she has a ways to go to match Alison in the vocal department (Alison is Awesome!), but she'll get there. She's young and has a bright future ahead of her.

Post Script: Alison is totally aware of Sierra's talents. Alison has even had Sierra appear on stage with her and Union Station several years ago. And Ron Block (Banjo and Guitar in Union Station) helped produce the album above. Here's a young Seirra with Alison playing Cluck Old Hen. You also get to see and hear the best dobro player the world has ever known.

Mrs. 'Neer's contribution as her most favorite album during her college years. Caught me by surprise. Thought for sure it would have been a Motown album, but this was the first that came to her mind.

    I really like this thread.

    I really like bluegrass.

The cover of American Beauty can also be read as American Reality; this was my first GD album.

Bridge Over Troubled Water was my very first album. I can remember listening to Cecilia on 78 speed, which was the funniest thing ever to my 8-year-old self.

To mix things up here is my first Ozzy album:
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right
