im hoping for a 5 or 6. a 7 would be ok depending on what 2's bracket we are in. im assuming if we win out and win our tournament we would be a 5 or 6. anything but the 8/9 game for me!

Give the selection committee a dollar to make us a 16 seed with UConn.

    Default Rpi

Higher than I would have expected at 29 quite frankly, happy with that.

Isn't it strange how you can be a "bubble team" and a #7 seed at the same time?

Kroz, I've had the same thought for a coupla' weeks now. Kind of a back door to a #1 seed! Would be something to lose out, win the tournament to secure a 16 seed, be the only 16 to ever beat a 1, then ride the 1 seed to the FF. Not sayin' we should try this, just havin' fun, but who else could do it? St. Maries? (actually, no 1 will want to draw them in the first round either, if Patty is back, even if he's not whole). Trouble is, they'll never give us a 16, even if we did lose out and win the Auto bid. ... Lets try from the upper half.

Agreed. I'm somewhat surprised that Gonzaga is a "should be in." But I suppose that if the lose every game from here on out they wouldn't get in.

...after the next 5 games, if GU wins all, expect the RPI to be around 40th...
