    Official 2/14/09 Zags@Dons Game Thread

with four suspended players that probably won't be reinstated in time for tonight's game ... USF is dressing 8, one of which is nursing an injury. Manny and Hyman would have normally seen minutes against the Zags.

Lowhorn, himself, is quoted as saying the energy was better (Thurs. vs. Port.) with just those 7 players. Coach Rex is sending a message.

The Dons did well on the boards too, vs. the Pilots (17 offensive). IMO Micah and Ira! 's energy boosts will be important tonight to help wear down the undermanned Hilltoppers.

    Go Zags.

I expect an even-keel game with little emotion, just kinda business-like, maybe a bit flat.

      Milestones -

Josh enters the game with 998 career points. Jeremy entered the 1000-pt. club early this year, and Matt joined in Thursday's game.

Few is tied at second with Dick Davey for most WCC victories (122). He still has eh, say four to five years until he nears Carroll Williams' 165.

Time to kick-start the Jager-machine, tap the keg, uncork the cask, put the champagne on ice ...

Let's get this party started ...

        Go Zags !!!

I am wishing I had ESPNU right now. I did not think I needed it this year.

No espn360, no channel surfing.net, No justin.tv feeds.

Might just be radio and game tracker.

I'm watching the Pilots-Gaels game and the atmosphere and energy is maybe 50% of what it was Thursday night.

I bring this up because I kinda expect the same at USF.

Radio is dead. Don't know why.

ESPNU is Channel 148 on Dish Network. The game could run long.

UP-SMC is on Comcast Sportsnet-California, channel 409 on Dish.

                            Evidently not.

Libbey worked the UCLA-Arizona game today.

Yup, radio is on air now.

                              Micah starts ahead of Steven

Fox says he likes it, suggesting Micah can either sit down or take JH or AD's place when Steven comes in.

Fox: "MD's so versatile, I like this move."
