Cougs fall short vs Beavers. Not good.

Cougs get outscored by 14 points in the second half to coug it at home.

Maryland should have two more ACC wins (and two fewer ACC losses) early on but they coughed up leads to just barely lose. This win vs Va Tech is a dandy, though.

Default Just play your best for 40 minutes

I hope I never hear that they "Zagged it".
Come on guys put some heart in your game. If you lose because the other team was superior, then OK, but don't lose because you did not leave it all out there on the court.

I hope not either. It's all about defense. hopefully this year's squad, while head-scratching on offense, sets the tone for future defensive teams.

    Go Zags

Portland State lost again. This time to Weber State. That makes 5 conference losses.

Damn, how in the hell did Portland State beat us. I guess we are allowed one bad loss and that was it

Zags up to #27 today in the RPI, not bad at all. Last five games are against teams at 200 or worse so will take a hit for that and obviously five wins are a must to hopefully tread water in this measure.

Memphis and PSU only beat our JV squad. At least I think so, I didn't recognize very many players in either one of those games.
