When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep - not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

I can remember when Jim Henson had a local TV show in the Washington DC
    area called "Sam and Friends".

For the "more-seasoned" Foosters who would like to take a stroll down memory lane of the childhood. Here is a great link to a site that details local TV kids shows from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s by state, by city and by local TV station.

    http://captainerniesshowboat.com/kidsshowhost.html

Even younger Foosters, when you stop laughing at what passed for local TV entertainment, might want to share the link with their parents or grandparents.

I can remember when stores still sold candy cigarettes.

You can't make a half sandwich. If it's not half of a whole sandwich, it's just a small sandwich.

I once saw a little kid hit the pack the way smokers do before getting out a cigarette.

I was disappointed all the Candyramas are gone from downtown, I wanted to take my kids there and pick up some candy lipsticks!

I drove a Chevy with four on the floor and hit the dimmer switch with my foot.
