SO BIG!!! SO FREAKIN BIG!!! If we could play the way we played in the 2nd half, there is almost NOBODY that can hang with us offensively. (well...if we hit Freethrows). This was a MASSIVE game, and hopefully a turning point for us. Wow...ended the Tennessee home win streak....HUGE.

And for the 30 of you that were sitting at your keyboards, ready to start the player bashing, complaining, Negative Nancy threads....ah....nevermind....

    GO ZAAAAAAAAAAAAAGS!!!

PS- BOUT TIME I GET TO POST THIS THREAD AGAIN!!!!!!!

I agree... Bouldin for being in it all game long.

It has to be Bouldin--he was the heart and soul out there tonight--but major kudos to Daye. During that stretch when the game was tied at 68 he came up with three or four HUGE rebounds on the defensive end. It allowed GU to keep sawing wood.

    Default MB all Daye

    MB -honorable mention to Daye.

Anti GUnit to the announcers for the gratuitous Ammo mocking.

    Finally we "finished things".

Walt and Bob will be very pleased.

Great game! and no more tears from the cryers tonight.

    Bouldin no question.

Side note - Heytvelt is being under utilized. Needs more touches.

Matt. He carried the team when they were down in the first half and then helped seal the deal with good,level-headed play.

    Relentless, aggressive, and focused.

He's starting to remind me of the way Santangelo approached the games.

Bouldin....one of the top ALL around Zag performances I have seen during the run. For sure the best GAME in his GU career...remember when Matt was no where to be found against top comp? What a stud!

Matt was great the entire game. Daye had a super 2nd half and Foster has emerged as a factor off the bench - what a move on offense.
Let's here what JDM has to say about the Zags after this game.

Well struck, Woohoo! Save the negativity for another day (preferably for a day when I'm skiing or otherwise away from my computer!!!)

Bouldin. His experience really showed tonight. He played smart, took the ball to the rim, played under control, and carried the team for several stretches.

Can't agree with original post. You have to look at both team's performance to judge our performance. TN took how many poorly selected 3's in the second half and "doinked" 'em? Not to mention their very poor defense as pointed out by ALL the commentators. Great game, but keep it in perspective. Long road to go.
