    hands down...Pargo

GUnit shouldn't always be the leading scorer. There is no way our team could have survived the defensive pressure Tennessee applies without him.

Notice they backed off the press almost every time the ball got in his hands, they knew it would be a futile effort.

Not to mention, dishing out 7 assists with 0 TOs (according to espn box score)

    Solid defense throughout, great game

Over all though, glad to see Gray break out of the slump and have a great game

I do not want to choose, do not make me choose.

One of the best performances by a college TEAM I have seen.

Have to give it to Gray, with Pargo honorable mention. Minor subtraction for Pargo for the turnover with a full shot clock in the closing minutes. Great fun to see the Zags answer to a tough physical team with their own toughness.

I'm going to go with Pargo too. He did a great overall job of controlling the game. I loved having Steven back shooting so well, but we really needed Pargo out there controlling things as he did.

Matty. Take a look at his line. Only a couple points back from Steven and added in 5 dimes.

I'm torn - Pargo managed the game like a champ, but Gray dropped the hammer.

In the end I go with the Iceman: Gray.

Jeremy Pargo took control of the game when they needed it.

Great team effort. Very tough choice.

Downs was clutch. Gray was hot.

I'm going Pargo as GUnit and I can't even give a good reason why. Maybe because we needed handles in this game more than any other and in that department Jeremy really delivered.

    Default Gray

    ...of the game: Steven Gray

...of the year (so far): Jeremy Pargo -- hands down

I am stoked that we have seen Steven and Ira! get POTG nods by the announcers the last two games. Proof positive about the depth of our bench.

Pargo did have 3 TOs, ESPN's box isn't showing TOs for some reason.

Gray gets my vote based on efficiency.

yeah, just to be a contrarian-- I loved Gray's game tonight and am glad he's back... Pargo gets docked because of hoisting up a shot with 25 on the clock late, Bouldin's first half was awful , his second was very good.

Josh did everything he was asked. I know that its an outlier but I am going to go with Josh.

I would like to have gone with Few since it was a team game and man, we beat a good team like a dog for about 36 minutes, but the last four minutes reminded me of something really bad. I did not like it. Very bad. Tennessee comes within a made shot, a turnover and some pressure defense into making this look an awful lot like well, U Can't Like Anything . . .

seriously, I was getting might po'd at about the 1:53 mark.

But Josh--its a tough choice, though-- love Steven Gray and Matt Bouldin looked like a junior for the first time this year.
(and Matt had flashes and Austin did too, and without two horrendous calls, Ira would have had a better showing . . . man, we looked good for most of it)

    Great Showing.

Gray stepped up in a big way today.

3rd game of the tourney's G-Unit is the guy who made the 3's.

Steven Gray is my G Unit!
God I love that I've picked a different player in these last few games for this award. We have so many guys that can step up its amazing to watch.

Close 2nd goes to Pargo, our confident, smart, tough floor general.

    Great game.

Good to see Steven out of his slump...just in time. The biggest reason we held onto the ball as much as we did was Pargo. Zag08 is right on...as soon as Pargo got the ball, they backed off....cause he would make them pay.

Pargo is my MVP....great game by ALL the Zags

IRA realy helps in the toughness/hustle category....I though the rim was coming down on that dunk!

Awesome that there were clearly Three different MVP's to each of the 3 games, that speaks well to our team.

oh, and GRAY for the win!

Loved to see Steven break out of his slump in dramatic fashion, but my MVP has to go to Micah. After he took that hand to the face he did the mature thing and channeled his frustrations into gritty play. And he was the one who made sure the game stayed out of reach by sinking his free throws at the end when the rest of the team seemed hell bent on letting the vols stage a comeback.

Gray gets the vote for tonight's game.

Pargo gets my vote for Tourney MVP: He is showing a very steady hand running the team.

Gray...no doubt about it...loved seeing him break out of his slump.
