Well now it's Bud Light. Went from Deshutes Mirror Pond to Manny's to Bud Light. So it goes...

    I dig Ninkasi ...

Tonight, however, is Alaskan IPA ( which is pretty darn good itself )

Glad to hear you're feeling better, PZM. I too had to make some adjustments to my morning coffee routine. The doc said my blood pressure was too high for someone my age, so I needed to cut out the caffeine (among other things). Now it's decaf for me.

Mountain Dew, but I'm dreaming of a cactus cooler. I don't think they sell those on the East Coast.

This is Irish's new drink of choice:

    Pendleton Sagebrush
    2 oz Canadian whiskey (Pendleton)

    1 sage leaf

    1 orange slice

    1 oz triple sec

    1 oz fresh squeezed oj

1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice

    Ginger ale

Muddle sage leaf with orange slice in a mixing glass. Add your other liquids, shake without any ice, then pour into old fashioned glass filled with ice. Top with ginger ale, garnish with a second sage leaf.

Again, it’s nice to see when darker liquors make good light cocktails. It’s dark, but bright. It’s delicious.

    Cheers!

Is there a local pub that makes these? Never heard of it, but I'd like to try.

Valley Bowl Lounge out on East Sprague will make these. They don't muddle the sage, but everything else is there. Also, Ringo's Casino further out on Sprague will make them also.

Most of the time if you tell a bartender what is in it, most bartenders will make it.

    Irish loves this drink!

I would be happy just with the two oz of Canadian Whiskey.
