Coffee. We broke out the drip brewer a few weeks ago, The Keurig is in a spare room, no longer contributing bits of plastic to our garbage waste stream. . .
With retirement comes the ability to wait a few minutes for that first cuppa joe in the morning.
I use one of these little guys https://www.amazon.com/Classic-Stove...gateway&sr=8-5 on weekdays (we have a bigger one for weekends). I like really dark coffee and Keurig just doesn't cut it, I'm glad we returned the one my in-laws bought us (apparently some models you can buy reusable filters for because the cups can get crazy expensive).

Ah! The Bialetti! Quite simply THE machine for serious espresso drinkers. It is what all our friends in Italy use. I love it. I've gone through more expensive espresso machines than I care to recall, and nothing comes close to this little wonder for quality, simplicity and longevity. Think I'll go make a macchiato. Excuse me.
