Water - I haven't had a Monster energy drink or Mountain Dew or any other pop since December 31. It wasn't a New Year's resolution. It's something I've wanted to stop doing for a long time now. The headaches only lasted 2 days. I wonder if its the missing sugar or caffeine that caused the headaches. Either way, I feel better and I have been losing weight like crazy. I also haven't been drinking as much alcohol since December 27, which I'm sure helps.

I shook up a tasty new cocktail I like to call, "the Sun Queen."
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. gin
1 1/2 oz. white rum
1/2 oz simple syrup
Juice of 1/2 key lime
Juice of 1/2 sweet orange
A dash of bitters.
Shake with ice and strain.
I'm not sure why I feel compelled to consume citrus fruit juices over ice when the outside temperatures are hovering near zero, but this was tasty and refreshing.
