94, UV index is 7 of 10, RH 14%. . .it's a dry heat. Supposed to hit 100 tomorrow. Pretty typical summer weather for Northern Nevada

Stay cool. The building my sister works at in Carson City has had broken A/C all week. She has been pretty miserable.

That's good to hear. I am heading up to go hiking tomorrow. I have worked 23 of past 25 days. I had to cut my trip to Lake Wenatchee short because of work and did not get to go hiking there either. I'm really looking forward to it.

Thank Heavens that I am not in Spokane this week.
It is supposed to be in the 100s there this week.

I'm glad I missed that heat. I was in Spokane from Friday through Sunday. I didn't go outside much due to the smoke, but I did go to Hillyard Days on Saturday. It was warm, but not too hot.

Mid 90's. The folks on the playa will be wishing they had a thunderstorm or two to cool things off. Quite a few Burners on the highway this morning, heading east out of Reno.

You can't make a half sandwich. If it's not half of a whole sandwich, it's just a small sandwich.

It would be nice to have a summer without smoke in the air.
Seems that it is now part of the norm up here.

Just looked at the weather for Spokane next week...
and it says that we are having one full week of 90 degree weather.

WE might break the record this year of the most 90 degree days in one year.

It's been so bad dealing with this acrid smoke, especially not being able to go outside for walks or hikes. And it's been ongoing for days! Not sure how those with outside jobs are dealing with this, but it can't be fun.

Agree, tired of not being able to go outside.

And looking at that ugly horrible nasty sky and air.
The whole outside just looks dirty and unhealthy.... like Los Angeles.

The city of Spokane should invest on huge FANS..... solar powered of course.

Cool, breezy, unseasonably so. There are snow showers in the Sierra above 7000 feet right now.
