37 and cloudy. Mild winter so far. So close to GU though, it ought to be the same.

High in the mid 40's, breezy, bit of an overcast sky.

The Tahoe area ski resorts are singin' the blues. Very little snowfall to date and what they have is the man made stuff.

Rainy, cold, miserable... and I am tired from working late last night and am annoyed that I was at my desk at 9:15 this morning.

A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Friday afternoon
through late Saturday night for Spokane.

Storm total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are possible...
mainly during the Saturday through Saturday night time frame.
The highest accumulations are expected generally above 2000 feet.
In addition... north winds will become gusty late Saturday through
Sunday and produce widespread blowing and drifting of snow with
near blizzard conditions on exposed terrain at times
    .
Precipitation will start off as snow Friday afternoon... possibly
mixing with or changing to rain in the lower elevations Friday
evening before tapering off Friday night to drizzle. As a second
area of precipitation moves in Saturday... snowfall will increase
and possibly become heavy with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per
    hour possible on Saturday.

It is freaking foggy today! and I am going to miss the biggest moon ever for 2008. Bummer, it's like those people who fly to the ends of the world to watch a solar eclipse and then the clouds come in at the last minute.

I almost joined, the solar eclipse watching club, I have several friends who do that, unfortunately for me, I was not accepted for lack of funds.

Right now, it is 40. I should have played golf today.

Going down to -11 Sunday morning. Too early to be that cold.

SeaTac, 43 degrees, dark as night, driving rain and buffeting winds. Spoke to my daughter in Spokane and she says it's snowing. Judging by the weather here, we're in for a whole lot more as this stuff crosses the Cascades and freezes.

    Oy.

Last trip over here for the year, though! Woo hoo!

Freezing my ass off, currently 8F, and winds out of the northeast. Currently clear and sunny. Good day for a warm fire and hot toddys....unfortunately I have to work.

(Yesterdays low was about 4F and the high 8F - atleast by the thermometers in my neighborhood...suppose to be this way for a few days. Personally if I got to freeze I would prefer a foot or so of snow.)

    IZF,

Your post made me curious about my hometown weather as I chatted with my Mom yesterday on the phone and she said it was pretty cold out.

Current weather right now is -22 with the windchill at -46. Actual low temp expected to be minus 30 today. Brrrrrrrrr!
