Default Two more games just added to schedule

In keeping with Gonzaga's scheduling, it has just been learned that the Zags will travel to Canberra, Australia, to play the Canberra Cagers, on March 8th. They will fly there via Iceland.

The second game will take place in Burma on March 11th, against the Burmese Ballerz. They will fly to Burma by way of South Africa.

The Zags will log no more than 75,000 miles. "This is very do-able," commented one source. "ESPN wanted us to do it so we are," the source confirmed.

Sounds like a fun trip, but could we have a couple more days in between flights or is that against NCAA rules.?

Wasn't there supposed to be a game on the 13th with the Heraklion Hoopsterz? I guess they're not finished with replacing the floor in the Temple of Knossos.

That does sound similar to the Zags' OOC schedule this year, doesn't it?

BZ, you still a bit perturbed by this year's schedule? Are you looking at the games in Dec and thinking that if GU has a cupcake at home after finals instead of flying to GA, and then throw in another mid-rang opponent closer to home some where else, then mayb GU is looking at a 27-6 record and a 4/5 seed? Is that what you are still dwelling over?

P.S. When will GU fly to Europe to play an exhibition game against JP's new team? That is a game they should definitely schedule. JP's new team's uniforms are really cool looking.
