    Default Any updates?

Is it still 0-0? I didn't figure the game would be such a low-scoring affair.

    Default Full court press

How much do you think we'll apply that full-court press that worked so well against USD last night? We're not applying it from the onset.

We still haven't learned how to guard SCU on the perimeter... The guys need to figure this out quick...

Default 5-7 from three point range

I sure hope the Broncos cool off from the perimeter.

I said the same thing for 3/4 of the game in Spokane... "I hope they cool off from the perimeter". I'm right there with you saying it again...

    Default ...except

we're not fouling the 3-pt shooter, turning the ball over, or missing our free throws. Which is the only reason this is a 6-pt game. They'll cool off. They can't shoot 75% from the perimeter for 40 minutes. Knock on wood.

Default it looks like Raivio wasn't too pleased with Downs..

That was my interpretation at least. Downs playing with great energy, but really forcing up some shots. I have a hunch that Raivio was yelling at him to keep his eyes open for his teammates.

ZagPhD, I saw that too, he seemed really pissed at something - hopefully it's just a leadership thing and nothing more ...

    Default SCU is on fire

of course, I doubt they can shoot that well in the 2nd half. I think half #1 was their best shot. The Zags will need to set the tone in the first 5 of the 2nd half and stretch that lead.

Probably true. And he should. He's a good shooter, but not that good yet. Raivio has been on a tear. Keep it up DRav!! Man oh man I hope we can hold them to something more like the season avg behind the 3-pt line. And actually make something like our season avg from the stripe. Do that and we should be okay...

Default Does Downs start 2nd half???

Does Few start Downs in the 2nd half? We seem to be a better team on both ends of the court when he is playing.

    Default Yup, DR was pissed

.........with 3 mins to go in the half, it was clearly Raivio time...he's done that a lot......Downs chucked some up, but u hafta let him go........with Mallon and Kuso in the gm at the same time, only 3 Zags look to score......not a good combo....

SCU has one more rrbd than Zags

GU has 4 Turnovers, SCU has 10

    Zags 5 of 8 FT; SCU 5 of 7

High intensity game on both sides; SCU is a fine team and will be hard to put away.

Having 1 go-to guy, no matter who it is, makes this team loose. We need to be firing on all cylinders out there, where scoring could come from anywhere. Because it can, if everything is working right.

Default MD was definately forcing it a bit.

Scorers do that. Micah is not there yet (as scorers go), and you have to look to DRAV right now since he is getting his shot when/where he wants it. Pretty soon SCU will concentrat on Derek and the lane will open up for some slashing by Micah.

I feel good about the 2nd half

Bryant's feet are looking like he's got cement in those size 18 boats.

( And as soon as I rag on him, he gets a great defensive play and a nice post up on Kuso. . .I better stop raggin' on 'em )

    Default I'm curious

on the play when Bouldin hustled to get two tip-in attempts after a missed close-range jumper and then finally put in his fourth attempt - does he get three rebounds on the play? How are these scored typically?
