since, I only have one small A/C....

actually, I have another A/C still in the box from two years ago
    sitting in my hall closet.

    I should set it up.

Instead I have 5 fans going on the main level
and I have like 7 box fans on my upstairs.....

all blowing hot heat around the house....

since, we can't open the windows!

the wildfires are now a yearly thing.....

    every freaking August... same stuff.

    Angry

Last night, I kept looking at the sky to see
if I could open the windows for at least half an hour
to let all the accumulated HOT air out.

we are like 12 blocks away from downtown.

I can actually walk there and to RiverFront Park.

anyway, I went outside to my front porch
and I looked at the sky around 7 to 8 pm....

to see where that nasty brown air crap was.

or if it was blue skies and then... I would be happy and
instantly go and open all my windows and doors...

just to cool the darn house.

as I looked up in the sky...

There was this humungous smoke cloud heading towards over my house.

It was coming from the West and North.

you should have seen this cloud.

It just engulfed the entire area....

all you could see was brown crap and the sun was like a red orange glow...
in the midst of all the brown and black air.

I opened my windows for like 5 minutes and all I could smell was
    fire smoke....

like when you go camping and you are smelling that campfire smoke
    all over inside the house.

I guess the smoke is all throughout the state of WA.

It is even hitting the Seattle area.

Global warming brings wildfire risk to rainy US Northwest

    https://komonews.com/news/local/glob...y-us-northwest

"ISSAQUAH, Wash. (AP) — Nestled in the foothills of Washington's Cascade Mountains, the bustling Seattle suburb of Issaquah seems an unlikely candidate for anxiety over wildfires.

The region, famous for its rainfall, has long escaped major burns even as global warming has driven an increase in the size and number of wildfires elsewhere in the American West.

But according to experts, previously too-wet-to-burn parts of the Pacific Northwest face an increasing risk of significant wildfires due to changes in its climate driven by the same phenomenon: Global warming is bringing higher temperatures, lower humidity and longer stretches of drought."

this one is titled: "SPAM Risk caller"

...let me go and block this sucker.
and then go back to work.

well, it is still hot in Spokane.

It was 84 degrees in my bedroom last night.

Had to sleep again with a fan on me.

I don't know why, but, I really don't like sleeping with a fan
blowing on my face or me.

Maybe, it reminds me of my childhood in Cuba
where we had to sleep with fans on.

Our family did not have A/C in Cuba.

I went outside last night and took pictures of the smoke fire cloud that was coming
    towards our area.

I am going to keep them, so to remind me next year....

to get the heck out of here during the month of August.

I don't think I can do another year of this wildfire smokes.

It is really unhealthy and nasty.
