Life has been hectic so much to do and take care of.

Sort of like being the Energizer Rabbit.

And you are doing all the work.

Would you believe that I just turned in my 2015 taxes to my accountant and GPrep classmate
    Last week.

    Yep, that long and painful.

And I was told that I would need to pay an additional $1,400.

I was like didn't I already pay more already.

Now, I need to make payments for 2016.

Do you feel like you are a mouse on a treadmill.

So I am now on Amtrak headed towards the city from Spokane.

This will be my second night on Amtrak.

I have a secret if you ever want to torture me all you have to do is keep me up with hardly any sleep.

Really, I crack after the first interrupted sleep night. I give.

Now someone is having a private call I can hear.

What I dislike about the connection from Spokane to Portland is that you
leave from spokane around 3 in the morning.

And by the time you get settled and start to fall asleep it is around 4 to 5 am.

The problem is that the other passengers from previous cities.
It starts in Chicago. So there are many.
Have fallen asleep earlier specially those traveling with small kids.
Yeah, they go to sleep around 8 pm.

So they are bright and early and loud!

I think that I had about two hours of sleep last night.

I swear I was sitting right in front of these two young couple who did not
know what to do when their kids were yelling and crying.

I think their method of parenting is to ignore them until the kids shut up on their own.

Yeah, from 7 am to 10 am.

I was so tired that I didn't have enough energy or even remembered I had earplugs.

I jut threw my blanket over my head and hat.

Like that's going to muffled their crying and screaming.

Gosh, I could not hear that daily.
    I would go more insane.

I was really cranky and Debbie downer when we arrived to Portland.
All I could do is put my head down and try to get more sleep.

Have you ever been to that state that no matter how many cups of coffee you are
drinking you can't wake up and all you want to do is sleep.

    Yep that was me today.
4 hour long wait to change trains.

    Hey Amtrak!

Why do you put the most uncomfortable wooden benches like being in an old old church.

    Maybe, they purchased from them.

We are just arriving at Klamath Falls.

The two lady passengers next to us. That's where they are getting off.

The lounge car is closing in one hour.

Gosh. I am craving a nice hard stiff drink or two over ice.

But, that might make me snore tonight.
Not too pretty hearing an old drunk dead asleep snoring.

And when you finally wake up.

You go, why are all these mad strange faces looking at me?

    And you have no clue.
    Isn't life grand.

Gosh I am going to try to sleep early tonight.

I brought some NyQuil to knock me out.

All I have to do is find my blanket and ear plugs.

    Back in the city again.

I have to remember that I am not in Spokane anymore.

I need to adjust my driving habits to crazy city driving.

As I was driving to downtown today.

I was driving carefully and sanely and not slow but the speed limit.

I have to remember that the drivers here are extremely aggressive.

I got cut off twice by the same lady driving her huge SUV.
Maybe she couldn't see me or didn't care.

I was relaxed and fine the first time she cut me off, like yeah fine.

The second time she did that again and I had to break otherwise I would have hit her.
Then I realized heck I am back in the city and I need to verbally yell at people and honk that horn.

    The fog is in.

    Welcome to summers in SF.

It can be 100 degrees inland California and the coastal cities are cold, damp and freezing.

I am waiting for the mail person to deliver my North Face down jacket.

So glad we are finally here and off that Amtrak train.

Two days on Amtrak is just too long.

I am crossing my fingers that we will be able to fly again.

No, we didn't get put in the no fly list, if you are wondering.

I am traveling with someone at the moment who is getting huge anxiety
Problems Flying. Just the thought of going through that security line and the cattle call of madness
    Gives them panic attacks.

    Life what can you say.

People are in such a rush and rude when they travel.

    The word is 'extremely pushy'.

    Even traveling on Amtrak.

I noticed that most people while on the train are more relaxed and chilled.

But the moment the train gets to the station.
People will start getting pushy and in a hurry.

Even the old people get pushy.

    Here is an example.

We got to the Emeryville station.

We have to take a bus to take us into the city.

People are impatient to board that bus.

You can see it on their faces and body language.
They all push themselves towards the front door.

They want to be first to board. If they could push you to the ground to get ahead of you.
    They would.

And I am thinking. Heck the bus is not going to be full. You can count like maybe 24 people on a maybe 60 seat
bus. We are all going to get a seat eventually. The bus is not going anywhere until everyone boards and
the driver decides to leave when they want.

So why be a pushy p rick?

    This was funny yesterday.

As I was describing the people trying to push their way into the bus.
Even the overseas tourists who don't speak English.

We all get into the bus. Of course it takes longer to board cause
    There is chaos.

We are all sitting waiting to depart. The bus driver takes off.
Comes back later and retries to start the bus.

You can see and hear the passengers all concerned that the bus won't start.

After sitting there for a few minutes and the bus won't start.
The driver informs us that we have to get out of the bus.

    The bus is broken.

You can hear the complaints and displeasure.

One guy sitting next to us gets up rushes to the front of the bus to
be one of the first to get off the bus.

As he is walking to the front of the bus, he is yelling:
    Fu ck you Amtrak!
