Default Toughest decision of the year

Can make a strong case for Matt, Pargo and Micah.

But I gotta give my vote to Kuso. His offensive boards were huge, his defense was great and he scored with authority. I made up my mind when he made a hustle play on a loose ball late in the game and had the presence of mind to get the ball to Jeremy before he got called for the walk. I thought this was his best game yet.

Matt, Pargo, Kuso, Micah all have a legitimate claim, w/ Josh and Austin having enough to get honorable mentions.... I'm guessing that is what you call a TEAM victory...

So, at the risk of my vote not counting... My GUnit is the TEAM.

Oh, and believe or not, Simpson's outstanding play nearly trumped everything. I am almost tempted to give it to him, even though his Gaels came up short in this one.

This guy is a gamer and is a consistent jumper away from being a force at the next level.

    Micah's passing and scoring.
    Pargo's floor generalship.

But Matt made an amazing shot near the end of the 1st-half that sealed my vote. Matt was MVP tonight!

My GUnit is Pargo tonight. He hit a couple treys which he has been inconsistent with. Especially when GU needed them. And of course his amazing stats!

Pargo. So much -- the plays, the leadership. He ran a tight, disciplined floor tonight, and the cohesion reflected that.

    Bouldin, though.... So, so nice.

Yes, yes and yes! Everyone has a point for ever single player but tonight's victory was the TEAM EFFORT that we have been waiting for all year. The GUnit award is appropriate when one or two shine and others do not, however in this case every effort was needed and integrated into the team effort. I have to agree with former1dog, zag buddy and GPGUgrad, The Team Gets the nod from me. I hope that there is a catagory for TEAM. Go Zags,Close it out against Santa Clara (Revenge Shall Be Ours).

Might be smart to give it to the team. Whether it's Matt, Jeremy or KUSO and Micah ( who seemed to be everywhere), they ALL complimented each other. Team win in my view.

Gray actually had some stellar minutes filling in at point guard when Pargo was on the bench with 2 fouls, including the pass to Bouldin which led to the wide open three that put us up by 2 at the halftime.

Matt and Jeremy and Kuso and Micah. I usually force myself to choose, but not this time...I vote for all four.

    Pargo -
3 assists, 6 for 7 shooting, hit all 4 free throws in the heat of battle
he pulled us ahead in the 2nd half, where it had also been close (as it was during the 1st half) to never look back

Downs - gets second place, with 3 assists, 2 blocked shots, 2 steals

bouldin - third place, one assist in 38 minutes

Have to give it to Matty, but what a team effort. Pargo just earned himself WCC POY. Very proud of the boys...5 TOs, stifling D, consistent O, great rebounding? 'nuff said. Bring it on, Broncos.
