I'm going to make the yearly trek to see my extended family in the portland area. My cousin has season tickets by the portland bench along with the coaches wives so I can't bring any zag gear with me--at least to the game.

Why isn't this game on a Saturday???

Ticketmaster sold tickets to this game beginning at (I think) 11 AM one day a few weeks ago. We called before the 11th bell rang the first day and the only tickets they had left were in the last row in the worst section. How do you guys do this?

I would really, really, really like to meet Bowser if it is true he will be there.

Seems like getting four individuals from four individual cities together, meeting up with Rangerzagcrony from class of "73 to properly pregame grovel in appreciation of taking advantage of Rangerzagcrony's status as Pilot ticket holder to obtain four ticket for Rangerzagcontingent in a civilized manner (instead of the two fisted cell phone dial fest during the 12 minute window tickets are actually available to the unaffiliated general public) is most closely akin to herding cats.

Male Voice: Yeah. And apparently some of the board guys want to meet me. I don't know who's buying.

F: This Bowser thing is pretty ridiculous. I mean you're an introvert.

M: No I'm polite. There's a difference.

F: You know that is BS. Honey, I've seen you at parties. You're the guy with the bottle of scotch parked next to the Chex Party Mix. You're kind of a dork.

M: Thank you for your support.

F: Grow up.

F: Remember the near fiasco at the WCC tourney last year?

M: What are you talking about

F: Oh I don't know. Besides the negligent driving and littering citations. I was humiliated when I saw the family doctor the next day.

M: How was I to know he was a Zag fan. I don't do much talking when he pulls on that rubber glove.

F: Picture this then. I see Dr. D and he tells me he saw you at the game carrying three, not one, but three chili dogs. And an ice cream. The day after the meeting with the nutritionist.

M: That was for the rest of the gang. And one for Majerus.

F: I don't know Angelo but I am sure he wouldn't degrade himself in that manner.

M: Yeah. He's from Seattle. Nothing degrading there.

F: Who's Majerus.

M: Haven't I taught you anything?

F: In fact you have. Never believe a single thing you say.

We will be there. I have a couple extra tickets if somebody wants em. PM me. This game is not getting much love from my non-Zag friends. Most years my friends beg me for extra tickets, this year everybody seems too busy (staying home, washing their hair). Screw'em. I'm going and I'm going to have a good time.

Portland is a lot closer to Tacoma than Spokane is, and the ticket is a lot easier to get, so we are making the drive south on I-5. This is always a well attended game and pre-game so we are looking forward to a good time. The ZAG fans typically outnumber the Portland fans, I love taking over their gym............
