I didn’t realize Joel graduated this past December. He enrolled at Gonzaga in Fall 2017 then graduated December 2020...one semester earlier than most Fa17 admits will graduate. Very impressive...
Can’t help wondering if Duke loses will Coach K start calling for season to be cancelled again.
You got that right. Turned it on to catch latter part of 2nd half and Gators promptly turned Vols over on 3 straight possessions to bump lead from like 12 to 19 points. Game over. Pons doesn’t get...
Voted for Champions because that is this team’s attainable goal and would love seeing Kispert be the senior who leads Zags to their first Natty!
Go PITT!
Hope to catch some of the Tennessee game as I haven’t seen them this year but like Barnes’ teams generally.
Exactly. The only argument for leaving the WCC that might convince me is the “WCC foes don’t allow Zags to improve enough during the season to compete well vs NCAA tourney teams” but that argument...
Thanks Section. Nice hearing Michaelson give Cook major credit. I’m a huge Aaron Cook fan.
Agreed. Few himself said Zags looked and played tired vs Gaels so I’d be real surprised if they add a Thursday game. The extra practice would give Gregg some time to catch up and perhaps start...
Enjoyed reading everyone’s posts. For all his apparent lack of energy and 0-fer stat line last night I believe Watson has the coaches’ confidence by virtue of his intangibles, like understanding the...
Aaron Cook gets my vote. He lit a fire in Zags during key first half stretch when Zags surged back to take the lead going into halftime and likely put serious doubt in Gaels’ minds they had any...
Playing like someone whose entire family is relying on him making it in the NBA and soon vs an 18 year old who has earned a great scholarship and 4+ years to hone his skills and possibly develop into...
I’m thinking coaches and players alike not pleased with how they played in 1st half vs Pepperdine so they will be fully engaged and amped up to show the world who they really are on Saturday.
Zags dial up their focus and intensity in 2nd half to outscore Pepperdine by 21 points and flatten the Waves en route to a 25 point victory in a game that seemed tougher than most this season.

Ditto here in Savannah, GA TZF! Actually rather chilly here this week for us with highs in mid 50’s
:-) I’m taking my humbled pie w coffee this morning. Chris Beard May be a better coach than a I’ve given him credit for as that’s a great win for his squad. Still don’t like him.
I’m assuming Butler has 4 on the list as well? Anyone confirm?
Thanks Reno. I haven’t seen Texas Tech yet this season but have seen Texas. I’m thinking Longhorns win by 15+ at least because they are very impressive. That’s a team with big bigs and great...
Excited to be able to watch both games this week on ESPN! Pretty sweet extra motivation for the
players to stay locked in and fired up. Doesn’t hurt recruiting efforts either.
Zags vs...
Great seeing Zags throw the 1-3-1 trapping zone w Watson up top look at the Pilots despite the big lead at the time. Practice and fine tune these things during conference play regardless of score in...
Fantastic summary as always Section. Thank you.
Love seeing Zags giving a different look w the 1-3-1 trapping zone. Watson at top of that zone creates problems. Great look to throw at opponents.
Video feed not workin for me here in GA
With you on this. Zags are must see tv regardless of opponent this season. They play beautiful, unselfish basketball and the respite they offer from all the troublesome, to put it mildly, current...
Thank you, Section!
