Yuuup! If Few is complaining about it, good chance it is bad.
The refs. clearly changed - the calls against the Zags slowed and the calls against Pepperdine picked-up. As this was happening, the Zags play improved. All it did was prove that the terrible reffing...
Nailed it - these things interact. It’s just WCC reffing can be so terrible that it jumps out right away.
What a coincidence, the refs stop calling ridiculous things, the mistakes disappear, and the Zags are suddenly up 15!
Right, because getting held and hip checked when you’re dribbling will have no effect. Give it up - it isn’t an “either/or” but a “both/and.” The issue is that the reffing is far worse than the Zags...
You nailed it, thank you! It affects the guys when they’re getting manhandled like this. Makes them tentative, which increases mistakes.
Another great red herring. None of what you said changes the fact that the reffing is atrocious.
Just more classic bush-league WCC reffing that can’t keep-up with a highly athletic team.
This reffing is an absolute embarrassment. The number 1 team deserves much, much better.
There is no way Pepperdine can keep-up their hackfest. That will open a lot of things up.
Classic WCC bush-league reffing, baby!
Egregious, obvious fouls are the basic duty of refs. This is basketball not football.
Hip checks aren’t fouls anymore?
That’s a nice red herring there! Doesn’t change the fact that so far, Pepperdine’s hacking is effectively disrupting things. I’m not sure how they plan to keep it up.
It’s hard to drive when they are shoving, chest bumping, throwing arms out, and holding our wrists.
Pepperdine is hacking so much that it is really disrupting things.
Pepperdine sure is mucking it up.
Yowza, they sure are letting Pepperdine, ahem, bang around.
Just pointing-out the absurdity we have to listen to from the broadcast team. Back in reality, it's great to see guys recognized for their great work!
I'm not sure what the WCC is seeing, as Dickau has declared that Ballo is out of shape. Dan's buffoonery aside, congratulations to Joel and Oumar!
I'm not quite sure why Heister gets all (or even the most) blame. Dickau is just as bad, but in a different way. Dickau frequently bad-mouths players (he hates Kispert's game, Ballo is out of shape,...
They sure were buffoonish, but then again, in Dan’s world, no one compares to him, and he makes sure the audience knows that every chance he gets. It’s nice to have announcers that don’t constantly...
Considering he never apologized for his “hot mic” comments (which were not reflective of what he said when he knew he was being heard), I have no reason to believe he still doesn’t have separate...
Kispert is exceptional and yet Dickau still hates his game.
