Considering the concessions given to the Zags by conference members 2-3 years ago, I think it would be exceedingly bad form to even suggest the Zags are looking for greener pastures...again.
...
Agreed, but they’ll e in trouble in games where the referees are calling hand checks and moving screens.
IMO, the difference in this year's team and the 2017 and 2019 teams is the quality and depth of our backcourt. For example, Josh and Nigel were playing 32-35 minutes or more every game. Fatigue,...
Too bad it isn't scheduled for Texas...by then, it's likely that fan attendance would be allowed up to 50 per cent. I'd be happy to treat you to any variety of adult beverages while you're visiting.
You could say that about most every newspaper out there, LIZF...except for the Spokesman-Review, of course. :allhail:
I do like Phil Mushnick, that old curmudgeon. He was nice enough to respond...
Great story!

Zags all the way!!!
I just emailed the author:
Neither team impressed me with their ball movement on offense...too much dribbling, one on one, sloppy passes.
8 total fouls called in 14 minutes.
Baylor's getting away with some questionable screens on offense.
Not a question of whether it's fair or not. It's a matter of decisions made by the governors.
Won't do much good...I was working on him to cover the GU-Virginia game. After all, it ONLY featured the #1 team in the nation playing the defending national champion.
And they wonder why their...
Let's not forget that the Zags received major financial concessions a couple of years ago, to keep them securely in the WCC. The only way I see us joining a new conference is if the WCC breaks up....
Edit's your friend, my friend...lol.
JP, I don't think it's a matter of "dodging" them. Baylor plays in one of the toughest conferences in the country, where every game is a dog fight. Both the Zags and the Bears have travelled a lot,...
We were supposed to play them in Austin last November/December, but Covid stopped it.
I had two road trips planned this year: one to Austin, and one to Phoenix (Texas Tech), both cancelled....
Doesn't this belong in The Foo?
Given the struggles over the past two games, I think Coach is looking forward to some extra practice time this week.
Fair enough bart... lol
I saw what you did there! I've had the same thoughts, but I'm so far removed from those in the know, I might as well be in a van down by the river.
Hell, the power 5 already grab 80+% of tournament revenues, I hate those greedy #######s and their acolytes.
I see massive changes coming to collegiate sports, due to financial losses from Covid, declining enrollments, and NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) legislation.
Zags will be in the catbird's seat, at...
No disagreement here, it's just that I have that painful memory of losing to them in Vegas, after we had previously beaten them by 60.
