Well, that was a beat down! Wow! Looked like they took they really absorbed and followed the scout (which appeared to have been well done). Jill was on fire on both offense and defense. And Jen gets...

Yes, thanks 116. I used to listen to the post-game radio on the way home from games at the Kennel. Haven't tuned them in this year, but your summaries keep me in the loop.
I was thinking the same thing, Zaga. And, from the current team, add to that list, Kispert. Historically, this Board disses younger players only to have them become "the best" in their later...
I say more kudos to the Gonzaga program for strength during a difficult year. Makes the Zags dominance all the more impressive. And really, this team is loaded.
Glad to hear you are on the mend, LIZF. Hope you and your wife enjoy full recoveries.
I just updated my post because I just realized that Saturday's game against Portland is canceled because we played them for a second time in lieu of BYU previously. BYU is the only game until 2/11....

I went with Championship because:
1 - I love this team
2 - I'm superstitious
Go Zags!
Congrats to Yvonne! Well deserved. From watching her last week, I think we got a good one.
Ayayi was in the right place at the right time on key possessions, so I went with him. But, again, this was team ball. Fun to watch, too.
I went with other. Kispert had another incredible game, but it was such a team effort.
I thought we played better than Monday night. CLF subbed liberally which I think is really good for player development and for the team in this current world where we don't know who may be available...
Great pics! Thanks for posting, although I'm jealous that you actually got to go to a game. No such luck here in Spokane.
I think the issues may be the dynamics of a 3-person crew. Heister and Dickau do some WSU games and they are much better and more focused. Heister did one game with only Fox and that was better, too....
1. Freshman player of the OOC SeasonLS
2. Newcomer of the OCC Season (can be a freshman or transfer)CW
3. Backcourt Player of the OOC Season (Guard or Wing)JT
4. Frontcourt Player of the OOC...
Blessings to all for a joyous Christmas and New Year! Go Zags!
It looks like the direct NCAA link explains it much better than the ncaasports link. So, it does look like there could be an extra year of competition. Thanks for the correction Scrooner and...
The NCAA extended the eligibiity timeframe, not the number of years a player can actually play. So, 6 years to play 4 rather than 5 years to play 4.
...
I believe he would have to be enrolled for the Spring semester before he could play. If he has to wait until the semester starts, that would be January 18.
What I liked today: First and foremost, we got to play! This season, that's a big deal. I also liked that lots of players got playing time and with good effect in many cases. Glad to se AV getting...
Really disappointed, but I think this is going to be the way this season is going to go, unfortunately. The only thing we can count on is the ongoing uncertainty of the schedule.
Thanks for your summary, ZagDad. I watched the game on FloHoops and had many of the same thoughts. BTW, I had hoped that FloHoops would have been a better stream than it was last year. However, it...
Iowa may be the big test at the 5 for us. From the clips I saw, Garza is a beast.
Games times are Central time, so noon Pacific both days, I believe. Going up against South Carolina is a challenge in any case, but as the first game . . . Wow.
