On the other topic. I played junior high all the way through high school football. I really loved it. That said, I would never let my boys play football, not in Pee Wee league or any other. I had 2 concusssions diagnosed in high school, not sure how many I actually had. Its a dangerous sport and all things being equal, I'm not quite sure other than the money in college and pro's why its still being played.

Josh Gershon is the guy who made the crystal ball pick for Gonzaga today. He is the west coast recruiting guru for 247sports. He's been at this a long time, and has a very good rep. It should be noted that the two Ohio State picks are almost a year old. Josh is on to something.

He has a record of being 91% correct. I like it!

It's crazy to think that Gonzaga could have Suggs (#9), Harris (criminally under-ranked at #48) and Strawther (#35) coming in 2020.

BTW = I have been told those Ohio State crystal ball picks for Suggs were for football. They need to get a different photo up for his football profile. It gets too confusing for this man.

Caldwell put his crystal ball in for Gonzaga right after the visit. I am telling you all I was more confident in Suggs than Strawther. After hearing what I heard after the visit I am shocked we still don't have a VC

National guys are starting to hear the same things I heard right after the visit. I actually am thankful for this as I was getting nervous that football might be a factor as we have not got a VC yet

Feels like we are in good position with Suggs as long as he 1. Picks basketball over football and 2. Duke stays away. Anything possible with Boogie decommiting.

Based on a few interviews he did back in Summer of 2018, he mentioned Duke numerous times. They have yet to offer.

Maybe Ronald Curry at UNC? Not sure if he was a Top 10 recruit, but he was the MVP of the McDonalds All-American game. I believe Greg Paulus was Gatorade NPOY in both sports, but of course he didn’t play both at the same time.

Charlie Ward was considered the best PG from Georgia in 1988. Funny part of Ward's story is that FSU's head coach Pat Kennedy had never seen him play until after he had committed to playing for FSU.

So I went ahead and deleted the quote from Inside the Kennel. I clicked on the link and I was not allowed to read it, as it was under their pay for information area, so from that and out of respect for the work they do I have deleted these post.

Just know that Suggs has been really high on Gonzaga for a long time and when he visited he damn near signed. I was and still am shocked that Strawther signed prior to Suggs, but I guess that's the difference between being a Top 50 recruit and a Top 10 recruit.

The only thing that makes me hesitant on Suggs is the fact that he has not already signed. Everything else that he does, that his friends say, that experts say, that Caldwell says, indicate he is heading to the Zags. Two more instances last night where i am reading between the lines:

-Strawther did a live video again last night. Someone posted #suggstoGonzaga on his video.. He responded "100% Facts"
- Suggs on Twitter liked Gilders post about Committing to Gonzaga.... What connection does Suggs possibly have to Gilder??? They are 5 years apart in age, dont reside in the same state, dont even follow each other on social media.. and here he is liking that post. He doesnt like any other posts from other schools commitments

Maybe i read too much in to this stuff, but between Gershon's article, his prediction, Suggs social media activity, and the words of his two close buddies who are commits.. i am curious as to what he is waiting on.

Well maybe Suggs is planning on having one of those fancy reveal announcements that seem all the rage these days? Besides, I think it was CaldwellZag (or maybe an article I read) that Strawther gave his verbal to Few two weeks prior to actually officially announcing it.
