Kirkland Pale Ale. Not my first choice, but I bought a case of Kirkland beer and it must be consumed.
Hot water with honey and lemon (not so great without the whiskey), this sudden cold snap is making me feel a little sniffly today.

As many or some of you know, black Friday has special meaning for lovers of barrel aged beers. Goose Island Bourbon County Stout and Fremont B-Bomb come out on the Friday. The Abyss comes out around this time also. I'm sure there are others I am missing, but those are the ones I focus on. I was having a hard time locating a bottle shop in Portland near me that had GI BCS so I figured I would take my chances when I got home. I left after the Gonzaga game and got home around 4 yesterday. I immediately hit up two Total Wines (Pro Tip - bottle shops sell out of stuff almost immediately, no one seems to think to go to the big places like Total Wine and BevMo) and picked up 3 bottles of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout and found a bottle of The Abyss Tequila Barrels and The Abyss Rum Barrels. I did hit Deschutes in Portland and for some reason they only had the regular The Abyss and weren't getting the ones from the individual barrels until December. After that, I went straight to Fremont Brewing. I was able to pick a bottle of B-Bomb and enjoy a glass of it on draft. It's so good.

I just read a report saying that it is good to drink 3 to 4 cups of coffee daily.
It helps reduce the chance of cancer and other illnesses.
Can't remember the other.
