Oddly enough, that's how I met my wife. She was sitting with one of my female friends/law school classmates in a bar. They happened to be old high school friends who'd bumped into each other at happy hour a few minutes before I got there. I was checking out a pretty lady at the opposite side of the bar. I asked my friend how I should approach a pretty stranger. My wife thought I was talking about her and got offended when she realized I was talking about somebody else. I apologized and ordered a drink for each of them. They were drinking margaritas.
