Currently mid 20's and overcast. We had a solid 6+ inches of snow over the weekend. Expected high today of 31 with a possibility of more snow.
Record high on this date is 59 in 2006, the record low is -15 in 1972.
Freezing my ass off, currently 8F, and winds out of the northeast. Currently clear and sunny. Good day for a warm fire and hot toddys....unfortunately I have to work.
(Yesterdays low was about 4F and the high 8F - atleast by the thermometers in my neighborhood...suppose to be this way for a few days. Personally if I got to freeze I would prefer a foot or so of snow.)

Colder than a bucket of penquin s--t
Bitter cold (for Portland anyway). E and D got to work from home today, so not a bad day really.
the local talking weather head said on last night's broadcast there was a possibility of snow in the Bay Area. . .growing up in Tracy, I can recall a few mornings when there was snow on the top of Mount Diablo. . .I would love to see San Francisco cope with about three inches of the white stuff. . .I doubt my birthplace even owns a plow, let alone a sand pile big enough to spread on those oh-so-fine hills. . .
It hit 65 today. We had dinner on the deck.
freezing rain
-14, but it's going up to 7. Yesterday's temps were -19 and -9.
4 degrees and windy. Supposed to get 3-7" of snow, about 1.5" on the ground already this morning.
Seven degrees when I left for work. Mostly clear skies ahead, high of 30. . .Brrrr!
Currently 28 and it just stopped snowing. Had to shovel this morning. Expected to be about the same temp the rest of the day with scattered snow fall.
Record high for this date is 58 in 1939 and the record low is -14 in 1932.
Still this cold.......

Hey Reno,
Yeah, I think that there is already snow on Mt. Diablo. I will check for sure in a few minutes, going outside to the store and I can see Diablo from where I am. I live on top of one of the mountains next to Sutro tower (I can see that darn tower, it's huge and ugly and screws with my cell phone!).
A friend of mine yesterday said that it snowed lightly in the Mission district.
When we were driving around the city, we were caught in an incredible hail storm.
I've only seen snow here once, and never ever want to see again!!! This city will be inoperable for all. Living on top of a huge ass mountain on steep San Francisco narrow roads, YIKES!!! I better go and buy food before I get stranded.
Please, no snow, let it all go to Lake Tahoe or Spokane! :)
The Time is 2:32 ... Temperature Seventeen Above.
4:42 - 12 Above
Hunker down folks ... more is coming your way. With a break of snow mixed in between.
Fi...Fi..Fi..vvvvve degrees.

This morning it was SEVEN degrees when I left for work at 6:20; the forecast for Weds A.M. is FOUR degrees. . .
I would never fit in in Alaska, Montana, the Great Frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. . .I'm a pee you ess ess why when it comes to cold weather. Always have been, always will be. . .
So it goes.
Rest of Tonight in Otis Oh, WA
Very cold. Partly cloudy in the evening... becoming mostly cloudy. Lows 4 below to 1 above zero. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Wind chill readings 1 below to 16 below zero.
That is B.S. Cold!
Wednesday
Very cold. Cloudy. A chance of snow in the morning... then snow in the afternoon. Snow accumulation of 2 to 3 inches. Highs 15 to 17. South wind 5 to 10 mph in the morning...becoming light in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation 80 percent. Wind chill readings 12 below to zero in the morning.
Great, now I get to shovel snow too!
A little chillier today. Right now it is around 38 and raining. Pretty miserable.
Currently 16 and partly cloudy, expected high today is 26 and the forecast is for partly cloudy the rest of the day.
High temperature for this date is 58 in 1939 and the low is -4 in 1931.
Pushing double digits today, currently a balmy 9 degrees. At least the wind has died down compared to the last three days. 3-4" of snow on the ground that doesn't show any signs of melting any time soon.
It's sunny and cold. 48 degrees. Not complaining.
Snowing.
:starwars:
I'd Rather B Riding!
10:10 PM Still snowing and has been since 8:AM this morning. Got home about 8:30 PM this evening. There was at least a foot of snow on my driveway. Fired up the snow blower, and an hour later it was reasonably clean, another 1"+ has fallen since then. The seven day forecast has snow falling every day except Saturday - hopefully they are correct since I plan to leave early Saturday morning for the BIS.
The Wednesday Winter Storm for Seattle was a bust. :)
Some areas got a dusting. Others, nothing but rain. That's a good thing!
Safe travels, Bocco. The 'Neers will be at the BIS also. :)
Just measured the snow on my deck...18". Still snowing. 19F. I've lived in Spokane since I first came to GU in '67 and this is the most snow I have seen in a 24 hour period....(actually since the snow started around 8AM yesterday its only been 22 hours so it might be 20 inches or so by 8AM this morning.)
cold and cloudy:(
25 and snowing currently. Expected high of 28 today with more snow expected throughout the day.
Record high for this date is 53 in 1960, the record low is 1 in 1932.
10 degrees, not a cloud in sight. Winter Storm warning is going to kick in late this afternoon and the prediction is the Friday morning commute will be a snowy, icy mess. . .
Projected high temp today is 30 degrees.
At least we have the gear to deal with it; flights in Vegas were cancelled yesterday because McCarran didn't have enough snow removal equipment to cope:

Wow... Las Vegas has more snow than I do... of course, I live just below the foothills of Mt St Helens... I've heard they've got 6+ inches just 5 minutes up the road.
Up at 4:30 am this morning. Shoveled 12" off my driveway at 11:00 pm last night. Another 5 to 6" this morning, and they are predicting up to 14" more before it's done by tonight.
I've lived in Spokane since 1976 and I don't remember a snowfall like this one. Now if you go back to 1968 -69 in NW Montana, I think it started snowing about now and didn't stop until March. We ended up with over 16 feet of snow at our house about 40 miles outside of Libby Montana.
I hear ya. I'm half way up the South Hill, on the West side, and we have about 24" so far. My driveway is like an long landing strip on a hill, though, so it takes a while to clear it - even with an 8hp beastly snowblower. Several passes so far.
The Man closed my work today, something that didn't happen even in last year's craziness. At least last year we got some breaks in to clear the roads!
Stay warm, dry and happy, my fellow cold-weather-suffering Foosters.
