Ick, same here. Fall is pretty much the season of perpetual darkness in Pittsburgh. I miss the sunshine, we saw it briefly yesterday, but it was days without sun before that. Today is a good day to curl up and nap.Quote:

Sunny, 61 and golden in Spokane. The forecast is for blue skies and warm temperatures for the next week.
On Friday we're heading over to Bellingham for our annual retreat and will be driving the North Cascades. Those mountains in sunshine should be amazing!
Weather looks nice again today. I am leaving work early to go on a field trip with my daughter. I'm super happy that it is not raining as we will be outside for the field trip.

Weeks of epic Fall days....cool at night (35-40)....bright sunshine during the day (65-75)....the summer crowds are gone and so are the bugs...perfect hiking weather...
I just watched the fog roll in from the South over the Sound. It was pretty cool. It took like 20-30 minutes to go from no fog to all fog.
I agree Bart. Last Saturday's weather couldn't have been more perfect. I woke up to cold temperatures and had a camp fire. Then when we went hiking we had sunny weather and very few bugs.

It's been raining/freezing rain all day. Looking out our windows the rain has all frozen to the screens so it looks like the windows are frosted glass.
Cloudy, though sun keeps poking out of the clouds occasionally. It should be decent weather for the football game in a few hours.
cold, cloudy, and wet - it was funny to hear Joe Buck complain about how cold it was in Seattle last night. It was 55 degrees when he was complaining. I had just walked to the train an hour earlier and was warm enough that I took my light jacket off.

I went for a walk during my lunch around my neighborhood. It was very foggy. I look out the window now and see that it is nice and sunny and no fog. I should have waited to take a late lunch.
The ice is thick enough to walk on.
