Growing up in the Valley, we never had mechanical air conditioning either. What we had to escape the heat was called the basement.
As for the mild temps,..... a hundy in Spokane is a lot dryer heat than a hundy in Kansas. And it looks like temps in the 80's are on there way to Spokane.

As for the west side, after a few days in the high 80's and low 90's, looks like we're in for 10 days of high 70's / low 80's with a 0% chance of precip. :adored:
