          Sad news. My heart goes out to his family. He was the face of college basketball for me when I first became interested in it. He is on my short list of MBB greats.

                Before I became a hardcore Gonzaga fan, I was a hardcore Arizona Wildcats basketball fan. RIP Lute, March 31st, 1997 will live on in my heart forever.
