Final 4 picks (Now vs March)

"I think everybody should just chill out on rankings right now and speculation on seeding because I think we are in for a wild ride," Mark Few told Andy Katz
As Coach Few said, we can expect change as Conference play commences. Some teams may get exposed for weaker OOC schedules, others may emerge from tough OOC play, some will face injury, and/or return players from injury, eligibility, etc

That said, who are your Final 4 picks at this moment?

We can revisit this once the official bracket is released, and when the dust has settled from NCAA Tourney, yet interesting to compare your picks [now and then].

Really like the SDSU pick, and been impressed with them as well. Really good length and athleticism, solid shooters all over the floor, dangerous team who aren't getting the respect they deserve this season. I posted as such last week. Darkhouse.

Surprised at the Nova selections. Obviously a great coach, tradition, program, yet simply undersized down low, and PG play has been inconsistent at best. They were exposed vs Ohio St by 25, yet had a great win vs Kansas at home, yet IF Kansas would have utilized their bigs more, Nova would not have had an answer. I believe their biggest guy is 230lbs, and not as dynamic as say Clarke/Rui were last season. They are somewhat similar to us this season, that rebounding and post defense can be taken advantage of...

Gosh, I picked Duke & Nova more for their coaches than their players. . .

An underappreciated factor in GU's tournament seedings has been the lack of good teams in the Western USA the last 20 years. This year might be different.

As long as GU doesn't have more than 1 more loss (and it's not to Portland or something...) then GU is in great position for the #1 seed in the west. At this point it's ours to lose. So who do we want in our region?

              The question might become:

If we think Oregon is big threat as a potential other top seed in the west, do we want them to run the Pac-12 table as much as possible, and potentially get a #1 seed in another region? Other likely top west-region teams: SDSU, Zona, Kansas?

Right now my final 4 predictions:

              tOSU - midwest
              Duke - South
Oregon (who get shipped to the East)
              Gonzaga - West

Baylor another team to watch out for...debated b/w them or Dayton in my F4.

Beating them was a huge win for UW.

Baylor has wins over Arizona, Butler, & Villanova.

As always, elite length (how do they always get guys with 7'4" wingspans), very good defensively, & good guards.

Just another one of 10-12 teams who could win it all this season.

Speaking of Dayton, love their seamless flow, team bball, & energetic defense.

Anyone watch their OT loss to Kansas, or their blow outs of St Marys, Va Tech, or Georgia? Really good, scary team who defends, shoot 3's, & plays beautiful bball, good ball movement.

They can play with anyone this season. They have a lottery pick wing/post hybrid, several lightning quick guards, & several guys who can stroke it. Their defense is fluid and fantastic to watch.

Their two losses were BOTH in OT, one being vs #2 Kansas, and the other was a 10-2 Colorado team in OT, on a buzzer beater 3pt.

Colorado was predicted as a Top 25 team this season as well.

They had zero issues containing tremendous offensive teams and defense shows up in NCAA, just ask Virginia, Texas Tech, et al.

Dayton was my pick above Baylor for this reason.
