My GUnit ballot goes to. . .PENDO.

Yours ?

The Brewster Rooster: PENDO

Pendo is da man!

02-16-2008, 06:55 PM
Pendo is the man. I was able to watch the game on ESPNU - very balanced game by the Zags, who looked good in nearly every department. Kuso and Heytvelt (also Sacre) had good games, so the Front Line came to play against the very physical Dons. Pendo was outstanding.

02-16-2008, 06:57 PM
Pendo, from start to finish.

02-16-2008, 07:05 PM
Thanks Reno! I was playing in my high school alumni game...ran a little late but I taped the game and just finished it.

I'm goin with the David. He was Pendo-tacular.

Pendo didn't miss a shot of any kind until near the end.

So did you have a triple double, WooHoo ?

I pretty much had the best game in history.

02-16-2008, 08:09 PM
tonight was Pendo's night......

02-16-2008, 08:10 PM
Even though I only 'watched' the game on GameTracker, I have to vote for P-Do, with honorable mention to P-Go. Really terrific balanced scoring in this game.

02-16-2008, 08:13 PM
Pendo was fabuloso, fabelhaft, fabulous!

02-16-2008, 08:22 PM
Pendo it is. Balanced it was until Pendo pulled away in the 2nd half. At the half it was Pendo 7, Gray 7, Daye 6, Josh 5, Pargo 5, Bouldin 4, LG 4, and Sacre 4. Very nice!:D

It was a really balanced game and I'm tempted to give it to the front line of Josh, Sacre, and Kuso for their work on the boards (maybe with a mention of Gray who was the leading rebounder), but I think Pendo does deserve this one - a great way to start the game (steal and drew an intentional foul) and he never looked back. Just deadly.

02-16-2008, 09:40 PM
The senior, co-captain, Big Red, the Rooster from Brewster, the Rattlesnake Hunter... PENDO

02-16-2008, 09:52 PM
Ill go with Pendo too. I think people tend to overlook how good of a shooter Pendo is because of his hustle and being "mr. Zag". Great game though. Good performance by the Zags.

02-16-2008, 09:54 PM
Ditto for the Pendo!!!

Pendo...this one's easy...came to play hard from the tipoff to the last minute when Coach Few put in the reserves. I figure Coach Few called last night's G-unit when the starters came off with 50+ secs left and he grabbed Pendo on his way off the court, put his arm around him, quick tap on the heart and an atta-boy.

P to the END to the OOOOOOOOOO

02-17-2008, 06:27 AM
The first four or five minutes in just about every game there is one player who sets the tone and mind set for the game and that is my selection for the GUnit
"Pendo the great"

02-17-2008, 09:03 AM
PENDO it is.

Go!! Zags!!!

02-17-2008, 09:10 AM
This one is gonna be a runaway...Here's another vote for the fiery red head....Honorable Mention...Woohoo

02-17-2008, 09:23 AM
I already voted, but I want to throw in an HM for Pargo - nothing spectacular tonight because it wasn't necessary, but after he was taken out the team struggled a little with some pressure from the Dons. Few put Pargo back in for a minute and the issues just metled away.

02-17-2008, 09:34 AM
Of course Pendo. It started with the steal in the first few seconds.

I was at this game, and was able to see things that I can't see when I watch on TV. It is a different game when you are there. I was really impressed with Daye and Pargo.

Daye might still need some work on his defense, but his offense is amazing. By next year he will probably be able to score any time he wants to (and in that way he reminds me some of Adam).

And Pargo runs the team. Sometimes he does a little too much, but when he is not there they can look confused and hesitant.

02-17-2008, 10:01 AM
Its a toss up for me. Pargo got 7 of the teams 11 assists. This team needs 20+ assists per game if they are going to excell. Mr. Solid.

But the other Mr. Solid is Pendo, and he had the soft touch last night.

Gotta go with Pendo, with Pargo a close second.

Ok, just for that Rub is voting for Sorenson. That barely missed 3 at the end was spectacular.

02-17-2008, 05:33 PM
My GUnit is BIG RED!!!

(Pendo :) )

02-17-2008, 06:44 PM
There were really only two significant parts of the game--the first four minutes and the last 5 and 1/2 of the first half when USF "cut it" to 8 (if you can really call it that). Pendo's contribution in the first four was key but Pargo ruled the court in the last five of the half spurring GU on a 13-4 run.

Considering this was pretty much a blowout from Pendo's opening steal and two FTs, Uber's vote goes to Pendo.
