If IU is able to defeat OSU on the road, on Sunday, Indiana's 4 ranked teams will all have completed the week undefeated and due to losses throughout the top 25, stand to move up in the polls. In Purdue's and Notre Dame's cases, the move should be very substantial. Butler should come in around 8 on Monday. Below is the state's ranked teams and their performance this week.

10 - Butler (W 71-68, at Valparaiso, W 62-57, at UW-Green Bay)
14 - Indiana (W 83-79, at Illinois)
22 - Notre Dame (W 95-69, at Seton Hall, W 95-69, vs Marquette)
24 - Purdue (W 67-53, vs Penn State, W 72-67, at Wisconsin)

With these four teams more-or-less locks for the Tournament and IUPUI having a very good chance of joining them, Indiana is dominating college basketball like no other state in the country.

Is Michigan State the best team in the Big -10? Or is it Purdue? Or Indiana?

I hadn't thought about it, but I agree with your assesment of Indiana hoops.

If you're looking for top tier look at Tennessee. Memphis and the Vols are elite and Vandy is top twenty.
