and what do you hope to see?

Zags 75
Santa Clara 63

Zags pushing the ball upcourt. We are best when we play fast. They want to play slow, and keep the score low so they can stay in the game. I don't think they're capable of scoring 70 on the Zags. So they'll keep it slow. We must push...we must attack. Attack the rim and attack The Hulk. Put him on the pines.

I'm hoping to see a United Zag Corp, with toughness, focus, and an intense fire that will absolutely destroy Santa Clara. I want them (Santa Clara to remember this game, the way they beat us in K2 last year...after a dark cloud rose above our Zags). WE DO REMEMBER>>>>>>>>>>

Zags: 82
Broncos: 62

We now should know how to hold on to a lead and blow out the competition.

I'm with you Reborn. I think SC will keep it close in the first half and part of the second but if the Zag's stay aggressive and play a high tempo game the Broncos will get into foul trouble and run out of steam.

I'm thinking 10-15 point win against SCU. The big center for them will keep the differential to less than 15.

Zags by 16 -- Bryant will fade. His In-N-Out Burger fix will wear off fast with the fast paced Zags. No drive thru inside the arena.

I still think we need to put on some full court press at various times during the game just to get us back in to our run and gun style of offense, rather than getting sucked into a slow half court defensive game which just doesn't seem to favor our style of play, especially with all the talent we have sitting on the bench.

zags 112- SCU 02

A rather bold assumption -- who will be the lone scorer for SCU? Perhaps two will make the front end of a 1 and 1.

Lothar is nervous...

(but maybe that's just because it'll be the first game seen in person this season, we'll see)

I hope you have a great time Lothar...at both games. When I heard you were going to the games I felt the Zags were in good hands.:D

I see Vegas has the Zags as a 7.5 favorite so I'm changing my opinion because the Zags don't usually cover the point spread very well....Zags by 5.

I agree with Reborn this will be a game to remember. First it will be Josh's brake out game and the BIG Mr. Bryant will be under 300 lbs when he chases Josh up and down the court. Josh will have a double-double. Our bulldogs have been in the snow and want to get out and run...so this will be a play hard, play fast, and play great 3 point "D" and GU will add one more "W" to our list.
