Stat notes from this week:

Hooray! No stats in the bottom third. But to temper the enthusiam, two stats are hovering on that line and one is sliding. But for this week we can be happy.
We have several stats that are trending toward that top 10% but the middle of the pack has had some wild fluctuations.
Only 3 of the 16 stats are in the middle 3rd or worse.Generic question:

Why if we are in the top 3rd in 3pt shooting % are we taking so few treys that we risk being in the bottom 3rd? I like the inside game and the midrange jumpers we take, but that stat says don't worry they ain't gonna shoot from out there.

Thanks LIZF, I look forward to this thread every week! Just the cold hard facts.

I'm still astonished at the numbers we have. We typically have not ranked like we are in so many catagories. 1 or 2 esp. W-L percentage and rebounding margins in the past. But to be ranked top 30 in FG % defense is unheard of in Zagland.

BTW I could give my source of information, but then I'd have to size you up for some cement shoes. ;)

I could update it twice a week, as the NCAA now publishes the numbers every Friday (through the Thurs) and Tuesday (through Monday), but I DO have a real job too... not that I let that get in the way of things on this board too often.
